FICTION
While I have been scriptwriting and telling stories for more than two decades, I am relatively new to the medium of prose. Like poetry, writing fiction makes me agonize over every word choice, weigh every possible approach. When I write script dialogue between characters, I know at once if I'm going in the right direction; writing prose feels more like navigating tone, perspective, and imagery one block (or sentence) at a time. Fortunately, the journey is often a rewarding one.
